Third-Party Certified Fire Doors to Suit Your Requirements

We manufacture BM-TRADA Q-MARK flush fire doors in FD30, FD60, FD90 and FD120 ratings, which can be constructed to the sizes you require, and in any of our available finishes.

Fire Door Ratings & Regulations

Fire doors are designed to save lives by holding back fire and smoke, giving people vital time to escape. Each door is tested to a fire rating, which is the length of time it can resist fire in test conditions:

  • FD30 – Withstands fire for at least 30 minutes

  • FD60 – Withstands fire for at least 60 minutes

  • FD90 – Withstands fire for at least 90 minutes

  • FD120 – Withstands fire for at least 120 minutes

All fire doors in the UK must be manufactured and installed in accordance with Building Regulations (Approved Document B) and BS 476 / BS EN 1634 testing standards.

Why Certification Matters

A fire door is only as good as its tested and certified performance. If it hasn’t been built and supplied under a recognised, audited certification scheme, you cannot be certain it will perform in a real fire.

BM TRADA Q-Mark Accreditation

Our flush fire doors are manufactured under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Manufacture Scheme — one of the most recognised independent certification schemes in the UK.

  • Independent audits of our manufacturing process

  • Ongoing testing to ensure consistent performance

  • Full traceability from raw materials to finished product

Without this accreditation, a “fire door” is not a certified fire door — meaning it may fail to protect lives and property when it matters most.

All of our fire doors are available with a variety of glazing options, from Part M compliant to decorative shapes.

As with everything, there are some limitations, and in our case it is fire certifications for our fire doors. These certificates are very specific about what is and what isn’t allowed, and as such we follow these incredibly strictly. One of our team would be happy to advise you of the options available to you.

There are many misconceptions and poor practice when it comes to fire doors, some of which could mean your fire door isn’t actually a fire door! Do you really want to take the responsibility of having bought and installed a faulty fire door?

This is where the BM-TRADA Q-MARK comes in. Purchasing a fire door which has a BM-TRADA Q-MARK means you can have the peace of mind that your fire door will perform to the stated rating.
